Frequently asked questions.

It's a thirty-minute conversation and free of charge. You tell me what you're interested in exploring and share any of your questions about coaching. I listen, ask some questions, and share a bit about my background and approach to coaching. If there's interest in working together then we discuss the best plan to get started. However, there is no pressure to start a plan or make a decision on this call.

My standard rate is $120 per hour for a 60-minute session, with 90-minute sessions available at $175. I also offer 60-minute 5-session packages at $550 ($110/session) and 60-minute 10-session packages at $1,080 ($108/session). For clients who need it, I offer sliding-scale options and I'm open to trade or barter arrangements on a case-by-case basis. No one is turned away from this practice for financial reasons.

Coaching focuses on the present and the future. It's a process that helps people access their innate knowledge about their deep desires. Coaching sets the foundation and conditions for people to actualize the changes and wishes that are most important for them. Therapy is often diagnostic and focused on the past. It helps people deal with issues related to trauma, mental health conditions, and emotional distress. They're different and can complement each other.

Both. I'm based in Portland, Oregon, and I work with clients across the country and beyond. If you're in Portland (or visiting), we can meet in person. Outside of Portland sessions are held on video and/or phone calls.

Whatever the work is calling for. I don't give homework or stick to a strict curriculum. I share relevant resources such as books, teachings, recorded meditations, movement practices, podcasts, and sounds.

The discovery call is the best way to find out. If you're reading this website and feel curious, intrigued, or excited then it's definitely worth exploring. Inevitably everyone that embarks on this journey ends up being grateful and feeling enriched.

I plant to use Practice Better as my client portal. It handles scheduling, video sessions, intake forms, payment, and a private space where we can share notes and resources between sessions. You'll get an invitation to the portal after the discovery call if we decide to begin.
